CJS Safety Systems Ltd is the market leader in lift-shaft edge protection safety.  We have designed and developed the proven and highly successful SAFEGATE lift shaft protection gate system, which can also be adapted for openings to service ducts and corridor restriction areas.

SAFEGATE is an innovative edge protection system that provides a simple solution for lift shafts, riser cupboards, ventilation and electrical areas to the construction industry.

The Safegate systems are BRE tested and certified to provide maximum protection for site personnel and lift shaft engineers.

Our experienced team are here to support customers through every step of the installation process, from advice and guidance to installation or certified training of site operatives for self-install. We are here to ensure that the safety of site operatives is never compromised. We have a dedicated Health and Safety department that perform site surveys and prepare the site-specific RAMS required to meet the needs of your business.

Our other products and services include; Safegate Solid – Fire and smoke reduction system, Double Safegate – Improved access for lift installation engineers and a specialist design and manufacture service for any bespoke on-site safety requirements.

Research & Development is a key priority for the business. We are currently working closely with several lift supply companies and Main contractors to develop new products and accessories to further enhance on-site safety.
